Roydon Village Hall
The Roydon Art Show provides a platform for local artists to showcase their work.
It also helps raise money for the local community. Plus there will be a chance to meet some of the artists, as many will be attending.
Run by volunteers for many years, the show’s primary goals are to offer the Roydon community and visitors an opportunity to view hundreds of original artworks, provide artists with a platform to showcase and sell their creations, and raise funds for the village hall.
A highlight of the village calendar, the preview evening offers the first opportunity to view this year’s exhibition and purchase artworks before the official opening. Guests can enjoy a drink and canapés while mingling with friends and artists.
Get more from your visit...
The main part of your visit is the chance to look at approximately 300* original art works, including photographic art and mixed media works, from local artists, artists from neighbouring towns and villages, and in some cases, from further afield. There will be a broad range of topics - not just pictures of Roydon. There will also be a wide range of materials used: oils and water colour are very popular, but there are also mixed media pictures.
Postcards from some of the artists will be available to purchase
These, like the pictures, can be bought using your credit or debit card as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay. We also accept entry payment by card.
An enjoyable evening for £12.50 per person
Pre-booking is essential as there are a limited number of tickets available.
To purchase your tickets, please contact us via email or phone.
On the Sunday & Monday, refreshments including tea, coffee and cakes will be available throughout the day.
Subject to availability, you can even buy whole cakes and delicious sandwiches to take away with you. And remember, all profits go to charity.
Enjoy a leisurely stroll around the exhibition...
You will find two halls filled with up to 300 artworks from local artists, both professional and those who paint purely for enjoyment. There will be a wide variety of styles and a variety of media used by the artists. So if you want a soft watercolour of a local scene, or something more vibrant, there is bound to be something to catch your eye.
And don't forget the popular raffle. For £1 per ticket, you'll have the chance to win a selected artwork.
